HISTORY
It is more than a decade that a small group of golf enthusiasts created a practice field in a slightly devastated historical park. For the first time we've experienced the magic of this royal game, which has fascinated the whole world. Two years later, in September 1995, we have officially opened 1st golf resort in the after-war age in Slovakia, which was the beginning of a new golf age in Slovakia.
At that time, there were only dozens of playing golfers in Slovakia and our pioneering golf activities were in public often seen as something unusual in our conditions.

From 1995, GCCBB club has expanded from dozens of enthusiasts, who believed that golf will become popular again in Slovakia, into hundreds of members.
In our club, there are many members from political and cultural sectors, with many members from business sectors as well.
A significant stimulus of the member expansion was finishing the 18-hole course Black River in June 2006.

HISTORY
It had been 14 years since opening 1st golf course in Slovakia when the Black River Golf Resort decided to expand by opening a new golf resort in Malacky. This resort was officially opened in July 2009, when the new club Eurovalley Golf Park Club was created. Both clubs, GCCBB and EGPC are part of the joined resort Black & White, which enables members of both clubs to have the benefits of both resorts in only one membership.

PLANS & GOALS
It was Bernolákovo's golf club that created Slovak golf's history and was an example for other golf resorts in Slovakia opened in following years. We have decided to set new standards again, creating a new vision of what golf services, courses and club house should look like.
In summer 2014, we have launched a full reconstruction of a baroque castle in Black River Golf Resort, which will become a new club house for all members of Golf and Country Club Bratislava - Bernolákovo. This castle, Theresia Chateau, which was originally inhabited by Maria Theresa will be an image of first-class and luxurious golf club house, which will be providing the highest quality services, not only in Slovakia but in a wider international area, as well.
